Why is important to have one?

The key to a good treatment is a good diagnosis, which is why we always recommend a panoramic X-ray prior to the extractions of the third molars or wisdom teeth.
This X-ray is indicated for this treatment since we can see several things:
1. Degree of inclination
2. Degree of depth
3. Direction of tilt
4. Closeness with important structures such as the maxillary sinus and the inferior dental nerve.
